2016 Gingerbread Bridge

WDY teamed up again with Waterleaf Architecture to participate in the 2016 Gingerbread Bridge competition. Our entry “Weight Bearing” combines gingerbread bricks jointed together with rock candy sugar. Waterleaf transformed the structural bridge portion into a snow covered Igloo that housed polar bears roasting marshmallows over a fire. Proceeds from the event were donated to Community Warehouse.
