Cornelius Public Works
For National Public Works Week, we’re giving thanks to our community heroes in the public works departments. Their contributions are truly invaluable, and we are honored to recognize their vital role in supporting the well-being of our communities.
Circa 2002, our firm had the privilege of teaming up with the talented Scott Edwards Architecture for the development of a new public works facility for the City of Cornelius.
The project consisted of a new 7,200-sf administrative office building with a 2,600-sf mezzanine for storage and mechanical equipment. As well as, two out-buildings, a 4,500-sf four-bay vehicle maintenance and vehicle storage building, and a 3,000-sf dewatering building.
